PERFECT WORLD Heaven’s Mandate

In accordance with particular PlayPark Inc. policies, as they are provided on our company website and subsites, certain penalties are imposed on accounts for violating the PlayPark Inc. Code of Conduct, and for any of the violations that are listed below. It is the responsibility of every customer to be aware of our Company Policies, violations, and penalties as agreed upon in the Playpark End User License Agreement. Claims of ignorance of such information shall not be excused.

Listed here are the general account penalties maintained by PlayPark Inc. as a company. There also exist game-specific account penalties, which you can find by following the appropriate links at the bottom of this page. In most cases, game-specific account penalties will take precedence over our general company account penalties. However, please remember that depending on the nature of each violation, either company or game-specific penalties may apply, the choice of which, rests on the sole discretion of PlayPark Inc.

Important Reminders regarding Violations and Penalties

  1. All penalties listed above are arranged into standards dependent on the general nature of each offense but are subject to any adjustment as deemed necessary by the sole discretion of PlayPark Inc
  2. All violations are validated through the actual observation of PlayPark Inc. Game Masters.PlayPark Inc. has no obligation of presenting evidence related to any cases it has ruled upon.
  3. All penalties listed above can be issued on a per-instance basis, resulting in an accumulation of 1st offense penalties or an automatic 3rd offense penalty, depending on the number of violations committed. The choice of recourse in such cases is entirely at the discretion of PlayPark Inc.

GAME SPECIFIC ACCOUNT PENALTIES

PERFECT WORLD 
Game Moderator
            Game Moderators are committed to helping and guiding users to experience the game at its full potential. Every effort must be made in bringing prompt service and in improving the quality of the game. GMs are to respond to users’ needs in a polite and professional manner. What Moderatorss can do for players of Perfect World:· Moderators will do their best in answering questions and handling complaints or concerns users may have in-game.· Moderators are to respond in a polite and professional manner.· Moderators are to oversee events or quests in-game.·What GMs cannot do for players of Perfect World:· GMs cannot and will not participate in any party or guild. They cannot and will not “tank” for or provide “buffs” to players, unless it coincides with an event or promotion that requires them to do so.· GMs cannot and will not give players items, potions or gold (trading with players is not allowed) unless it is part of an event or promotion.· GMs will not give special treatment to any player or specific group of players. GM’s are to be impartial, unbiased, and objective within the scope of their responsibilities and judgment.Rules of Conduct

The following rules govern basic interaction within the Perfect World game and the  Perfect World social media, groups, and forums. Please be aware that failure to comply with these rules of conduct may result in the termination of your Perfect World game and forum account according to the Perfect World End User License Agreement (EULA)Offense ListI. Verbal OffensesUse of Profanity or Obscenities in any means
Users are prohibited to use sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language.Users are prohibited to post or link to any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive imagery or content.

Spamming or Flooding in any type of channel
When communicating in Perfect World using server-wide chat, users are prohibited to spam, flood, or make duplicate posts.

II. Illegal Trading and Dealings

Real Money Trading (RMT)
Users are prohibited to advertise the intent to or commit the act of buying, trading, selling, sharing, or transferring access of items or any other game-related feature to another Perfect World account or player through transactions involving the use of real money.

Advertising non PlayPark Products
Users are prohibited to market, promote, advertise, or solicit within the Perfect World game or Perfect World social media, groups, and forums any product that is not related to the game.

Use of PlayPark Products or services for illegal activities
All PlayPark Products and services are strict to be used for legal activities only.

 

III. Harassment

Harassing or Defaming users or PlayPark Employees 
Harassment, by definition, persistent, disallowed actions against another person, is strictly prohibited. Anything that imposes on another person’s natural rights is not allowed.

Attempting to directly or indirectly assassinate a GM character or another player’s character is prohibited.

Making Real-Life Threats 
Threats in any form, even in jest, is not allowed and will be treated seriously.

Distributing another user’s Real-Life Personal Information
Users are prohibited to post or to communicate another player’s real-life information (name, address, account name, etc.) through the Perfect World game or through the official Perfect World Groups, such as in Facebook or Forums.

Impersonating a PlayPark Employee, Affiliate or another player
Users are prohibited to impersonate a Game Moderator, any PlayPark Employee, or any other PlayPark affiliate. Players are not allowed to impersonate other players as well.

Kill-Stealing*
Kill-stealing is defined as attacking and killing a monster that is already engaged by another player, and is not allowed. Bear in mind that there may be some locations or monsters that allow kill-stealing: these locations or monsters will be posted in the official Perfect World Social media and group.

Griefing*
Griefing is defined as a continuous attempt to destroy another player’s gaming experience.
By constantly attacking monsters that that player is already attacking, incessantly killing a quest monster repeatedly so that other players would not be able to finish their quests, blocking access to any location or NPC, or any other similar activity. This is not allowed, however, there may be locations or monsters that allow griefing activities; these locations or monsters will be posted in the official Perfect World Social media, groups, and in the official Perfect World Philippines website.

* Due to the sensitive nature of Kill-Stealing and Griefing, punishment will only be dealt IF and only IF evidence is provided that shows clearly the offense occurring (see Evidence Policy, below). In the event that the submitted evidence was found to be lacking, the name of the character reported will be noted and observed only.

 

IV. Others

Any type of act or behavior deemed inappropriate by PlayPark
Users are prohibited to violate any local, state, national or international laws and regulations.

Any other action that is similar to the above but not mentioned will still be held according to the Perfect World Game Rules and Policies. This set of rules may be modified at any time according to the Perfect World GM Team’s discretion, but with proper notification of the changes through the Perfect World Philippines official website and social media, groups, and forums.

*The Perfect World GM Team’s decision on any case is final. 

Misconducts
All offense reports will be reviewed by the Perfect World GM Team. Offenses have varying degrees of severity and will be up to the Perfect World GM Team to review and administer its corresponding punishment based on the provided evidence and details of the case. The severity of each case will be categorized as follows;

Also, be reminded that PlayPark reserves the right to evaluate every incident on a case-to-case basis; meaning, actions take in one case may differ from those previously taken with other cases of similar nature.

Penalties:

Penalties will depend on the number of times an offense is made. It will also depend on its severity.

NPC – Non-player Characters; these are entities in-game that are not controlled by the players, such as shopkeepers or monsters

· Policies

1. Naming Policy / No Name Change Policy
The use of profanity or abusive words or phrases, or anything remotely suggesting such, in any language or dialect, is strictly prohibited in the creation of Character Names or Clan Names. Players deemed to have violated this policy are subject to sanctions and may have their Character Name or Clan Name changed or character banned without prior notice. Clans that are disbanded due to violating this policy will not be eligible for compensation.

To expedite the prize-awarding process, starting March 15, 2020, all characters must remove any special character in their names to English alphabet and numbers only. Prizes from events and promotions for players with non-compliant names may experience severe delays or may not be sent at all.

2. Harassment Policy 
Characters in the game are free to choose who they want to communicate and socialize with (with the possible exception of GMs and other Playpark staff, but only in their official capacity). A character may cease communications with another character for his/her reasons. If that persistent character insists on sending messages, whether private or public, towards that person who does not want to continue communication, even with a clear warning that he/she does not wish to communicate anymore, then the offended character may report it as a case of harassment, submitting screenshots as evidence.

3. Scamming Policy 
The Perfect World GM Team will not be responsible for any loss of gold or items due to scams, unfair trades, or illegal trading (real-money trading) which are not a result of an in-game bug or exploit.

4. No Hack Policy / No Restoration Policy
Hack cases or Item restoration requests due to hacking will never be entertained. It is the player’s responsibility to protect his/her account. Beware of phishing websites as well and never give your account information to anyone. PERFECT WORLD GMs and Moderators will NEVER ask for your password.

5. Evidence Policy
The only evidence that is not modified in any manner and shows the incident clearly can be applied in our case processing. Screenshots may suffice for any chat or verbal offenses. With regard to complicated offenses such as kill-stealing and griefing, in-game videos would have to be provided. You can use file hosting services such as Mediafire or Fileden to upload your videos.

*Note: Screenshots must be submitted in .jpg format, with at least High image quality.

The name of the offender must be clearly seen, and the screenshot or video must show the offender in action.
