After two days of action-packed eSports fun, the Top 2 teams for the Perfect World Phoenix Council Wars 2015 (PCW 2015) were revealed last Sunday, July 19! On one side, we have Dynasty Warlords Luzon Champion – Fidelis. On the other, we have the Territorial Warlords Tiger Champion – Exiled.
The finalists for the Dynasty Wars battled Day 1 of the Playpark All Stars Online Semi-Finals, until only the strongest from each region emerged victorious. In Luzon, Atsukasa succumbed to Fidelis, who earned the region’s championship. FidExiled overcame Team Pailob to claim the Visayas championship. Finally, Rellik reclaimed its title as the Mindanao Dynasty Warlord champion.
July 19, 2015, Day 2 of the Online Semi-Finals, was all about the champions. The PCW 2015 warlords finally met up to determine the Top 2 teams to fight for the tournament’s prized championship. Wildcard Jade Warlords, Territorial Warlords and Dynasty Warlords team match-ups were selected at random.
In the last hurdle to the meet the Final 2 teams, Dynasty Warlord Mindanao Champion – Rellik met against Territorial Warlord Tiger Champion – Exiled. Rellik was hoping to make it back to the Grand Finals for their much awaited redemption from last year’s PCW. Exiled was aiming to prove their server’s supremacy. Although Rellik managed to win a round against Exiled, a two-win victory earned Exiled a ticket to the Grand Finals at the PLAYPARKFEST.
Then, it became a battle of Dynasty Warlords in the second bracket. Who has the upper hand – Luzon versus Visayas; Fidelis versus FidExiled? With a 2-0 score, Dynasty Warlord Luzon Champion – Fidelis took the remaining ticket to the PLAYPARKFEST Grand Finals.
This coming August 1, at the PLAYPARKFEST, these two challengers will meet at the ultimate arena to find out who has what it takes to reach the pinnacle of Phoenix Council Wars 2015.
