The Origin of the Asura
In Buddhism, there are Six Realms of existence into which beings are reincarnated. These are Devi-gati (Gods), Asura-gati (Titans), Preta-Gati (Ghosts), Naraka-gati (Hell), Tiryagyoni-gati (Animal) and Manusya-gati (Human). Some realms are more pleasant but everything are temporary. The Asura are powerful beings who display charm, wisdom, wit, faith, justice on the outside but deep inside, they desire to be superior to others.
Story of the Asura:
The Gods of Pangu know of the Six Realms of existence. Their realm is the Devi realm or the realm of the Gods. What they want to know are the beings that belong in the Asura realm, or the Demi-gods. But how can they discover who these beings are?
“I know of a way dear Goddess. Let the heroes undergo the first step to Asura. Ask them to give a fragment of their soul so that we may analyze it and judge the quality of their beings.”
“How? I wont force them to give fragments of their souls for nothing.”
“You wont have to. Demi-gods display charm, wisdom, and other good qualities but deep inside they also show signs of competitiveness. Appeal to that side. Close down the arenas and create an arena where they can compete against each other. Tell them that for a fragment of their soul, a rare treasure can be within their reach.”
“That is possible. Thank you.”
Calling upon their apostles, the Gods tasked them to start a construction of an arena to bring out heroes of the land who might be showing the first step to Asura. Are you one of the Demi-Gods of the land?
The Path of Asura
Event Time: Daily, 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. (The gates are only open from 8:00 to 8:10 PM)
Event Restrictions: Players Level 50 and above.
Entering the Event:
Speak with the Crimson Apostle at the Crimson Altar (107 150) during 8:00 to 8:10 PM in order to enter the Crimson Crucible.
You must have completed the quest “The Crimson Gate” given by the Universal City Elder (131 858) in order to participate.
You must have at least 3 free inventory slots and 2 free quest slots in order to begin the event. You will also need to pay 100,000 Yuan in order to enter.
There will be a 5-10 second interval before you are transported into the Crimson Crucible (the arena grounds).
Upon entering the Arena, you will receive the following items:
Xuanyuans Celestial Edict
When a player is defeated, they will drop all Xuanyuans Celestial Edicts they currently hold. You can trade in these edicts at the Crimson Soul Forge in the Crimson Hall for prizes.
(Note: Xuanyuans Celestial Edict only stacks up to 5 pieces per stack. Make sure you have enough inventory space if you wish to harvest heads!)
Heavens Justice
To equalize the playing field, this item is given to players below the level 95 bracket. The actual bonuses granted by the item depend on the level bracket of the character:
(Note: You must equip the item in order to gain the bonuses! It occupies the Relic slot.)

(Note: Both Xuanyuans Celestial Edict and Heavens Justice disappear when you leave the arena. If ever you leave the arena abnormally, all Edicts you hold will vanish the next time you enter the arena.)
The Rules of the Crimson Crucible:
Entry
Players spawn at a random location in one of three instances of the Crimson Crucible upon entry.
(Note: Choosing Solo or Party mode makes no difference at this point. However, if you are kicked out of the arena before the entrance closes at 8:10 PM, you can re-enter by using the other option.) PK Rules
Normal PVP Area rules apply (PK permanently on, no party friendly-fire, no PVP status change for killing players)
Item Permissions
You cannot drop items inside the Crimson Crucible. (You can still trade, however)
Death
Characters are transported out of the Crimson Crucible into Dragon City North upon death. You will drop all Xuanyuans Celestial Edicts that you currently hold, and other players may pick them up.
(Note: If you are unable to move after being transported to Dragon City, please log off and log on again) Buffs
There are floating orbs of light all over the Crimson Crucible. Players that come into contact with the these orbs gain buffs depending on the color of the orb.
Soul of Vigor Fills all Chi Bars
Soul of Speed Increases MSPD to 15 for 10 seconds.
Soul of Limit Increases Crit, ASPD and Chanting speed by 30% for 10 seconds.
Soul of Battle Increases Atk and MAtk by 500% for 10 seconds.
Soul of Life Increases Max HP by 300% for 10 seconds.
Crimson Crystal Gives a Dark Crystal when harvested.
Dark Crystal Gives a random buff when used.
Exiting the Kill Zone
At 8:10 PM, the Crimson Apostle will appear at the center of the Crimson Crucible. You may speak to her in order to enter the Crimson Hall wherein you can trade� your Celestial Edicts for prizes.
(Important Note: Once you transfer to the Crimson Hall, you cannot return to the Crimson Crucible anymore for the day!)
The Crimson Hall
Once you have transported to the Crimson Hall, you can use the Crimson Soul Forge in order to trade your Xuanyuans Celestial Edicts for prizes.
