Twilight Souls are a type of item that can be infused into Twilight Warsoul Gear to alter or improve their attributes.
To access the menu for Twilight Souls you can Ctrl + left-click a Twilight Soul in your inventory, or click the 
Salvage Soul button in your inventory and then click on the Twilight Soul you want to interact with.
Twilight Souls can mainly be acquired through killing bosses in Dusk Palace Chapter 4, but can also be acquired from opening a Casket of Innocence purchased for 50 gold from the Item Mall. You can also acquire a Slumbering Sacred Spirit for helmets through the Treasure System. Slumbering souls can be purchased from other players.
Types of Soul
Noble Spirit (grade 1)
Royal Spirit (grade 2)
Sacred Spirit (grade 3)
The grade of the soul determines the chance of getting a certain number of attributes and Lunar Phase grade, the quality of the attributes, and the quality of the Twilight Warsoul gear it can be embedded into. Higher-grade souls cannot be infused into lower quality Twilight Warsoul gear.
A soul can only be infused into a certain gear slot. There are 5 different types of Twilight Souls per grade: helmet, chest, pants, boots, and bracers. You can check which gear slot a soul is for by hovering your mouse over it, or by looking at the appearance of the icon; the name of the soul does not indicate what gear slot it is for.
Awaken
Before you can infuse a Twilight Soul into Twilight Warsoul gear, you need to awaken it.
In its slumbering or unawakened state, it is tradable and will not have any attributes.
Once it has been awakened, it can no longer be traded.
To awaken a Twilight Soul you will need to use yuan or gold depending on the grade of the soul. It does not cost event gold to unlock a soul like the in-game hint states.
At the bottom of the Twilight Soul interface, you will see your current coins and gold.
- Noble Spirit: costs 1,000,000 yuan
- Royal Spirit: costs 15 gold
- Sacred Spirit: costs 70 Gold
Once you have the required coins or gold you can click the Awaken button in the Twilight Soul interface and it will reveal the soul’s attributes and Lunar Phase grade if it receives one.
The number of attributes are assigned when awakening a Twilight Soul and cannot be changed. The maximum amount of attributes a soul can have is 5. If a Twilight Soul gets 5 attributes when awakened, it can also be assigned a Lunar Phase Grade but it is not guaranteed. It can be upgraded using extraction.

Infusing Souls Into Gear Replaces the equipment’s stats with the soul’s stats. You can remove the soul again to regain the equipment’s original stats. You will not lose the Twilight Soul by doing so. This can only be done outside combat mode, and you cannot infuse a soul if Safety Lock is on. You can only infuse a soul into Twilight Warsoul Gear.
To infuse a soul into Twilight Warsoul gear, the equipment you wish to infuse it into must be unequipped and placed in your inventory. Hold down Ctrl and left-click the Twilight Warsoul gear piece. A window will open up where you can see your infused soul, or an empty slot if not infused. Right-click the soul in your inventory that you want to infuse or drag it to the empty slot. You can also right-click the soul in the window to remove it from your gear. The soul will go back into your inventory and will not disappear.
Infusing a Twilight Soul with a Lunar Phase Grade will also allow you to infuse a Moonlight Crystal of equal grade or lower. You can infuse the Moonlight Crystal in the exact same method as a Twilight Soul
Purification the process of rerolling a Twilight Soul’s attributes. You cannot change the number of attributes through purification, and it does not affect a soul’s Lunar Phase grade.
To purify a Twilight Soul you will need Soul Shards. These can be acquired by decomposing other Twilight Souls. The amount that you need depends on the grade of the soul.
- Noble Spirit: 2 Soul Shards
- Royal Spirit: 5 Soul Shards
- Sacred Spirit: 15 Soul Shards
You can also lock certain attributes if you don’t want to reroll them when purifying. It costs Soul Shackles to do this for each purification, and the amount required increases if you lock additional attributes. Soul Shackles can be purchased from the Item Mall for 15gold.
Click the padlock icon to the left of the attribute you would like to keep before purifying the soul to lock an attribute.
Possible Attributes
The type of attributes that Twilight Souls can get depends on what gear slot the soul is for. A few attributes can also differ according to armor type (heavy, light, arcane) so that they are more suitable for the classes that can equip them.
You can only get each type of attribute once.
The color of an attribute indicates its rarity, or quality of the attribute you have received. The higher the attribute, the higher the rarity. The rarities are as follows, in order from common to rare:
- Blue
- Green
- Yellow
- Orange
- Red
Extract the process of transferring a higher Lunar Phase grade from one Twilight Soul to another Twilight Soul with a lower Lunar Phase grade. Doing this will destroy the Twilight Soul you are transferring from. This is typically done if you have a Twilight Soul with good attributes that you don’t want to try rerolling for again. The extraction will not affect the attributes of the main Twilight Soul that you wish to keep.
Both Twilight Souls must be the same grade, be used for the same gear slot, and have 5 attributes to perform an extraction. The main Twilight Soul must either have no Lunar Phase grade or a lower Lunar Phase grade than the Twilight Soul you want to sacrifice.
To perform extraction click the Extract button at the top-right of the interface and place the Twilight Soul you wish to upgrade into the top slot. Place the Twilight Soul you wish to extract in the bottom slot, and then click Start Extraction.
Decompose
You can decompose Twilight Souls to receive Soul Shards which are required for performing purification. These Soul Shards cannot be traded.
The amount of Soul Shards acquired through decomposing depends on the grade of the soul.
- Noble Spirit: 1 Soul Shard
- Royal Spirit: 10 Soul Shards
- Sacred Spirit: 30 Soul Shards
To decompose a soul, press the 
button between the Extract button and the X button. It will bring up an interface where you can insert multiple Twilight Souls. As you insert souls it will display the number of Soul Shards you will receive from decomposing. Once you have inserted the desired souls to decompose, click the Decompose button.
