New Class: Ren Xia

Ren Xia, an Amphibian magic class, wields oceanic power, unleashes rapid attack spells, and avoids fatal damage. As Bards, they heal allies and restore Djinn energy infinitely.Versatile in both PvE and PvP, they excel in dungeons with high DPS and provide essential support in battles. With their unique abilities, Ren Xia is a valuable asset to any squad.

The appearance of the new class is inspired by Chinese dragons, which are considered a symbol of the good beginning of yang and are strongly associated with the element of water . There are many legends about them, so it is not surprising that the choice for the new class of amphibians fell on this mythical beast.

Their connection is emphasized by Ren Xia’s appearance, which is unlike other amphibians – only their basic hairstyles have graceful dragon horns, their ears are similar to human ones, and they have no tattoos on their bodies.

The origins of the Ren Xia go deep into the history of the Ideal World, which is only now being revealed to us, when the connection with the Eastern lands is gradually being restored.

Around the 1520s, the City of Radiance was under serious threat. To save themselves, the elders and priests decided to form a party that would travel to the eastern part of the Sea of ​​Unknowns. Dongfang Liqing, the daughter of a priestess and a general, led them on a difficult and dangerous journey. Weapon

Ren Xia fights with a musical instrument called the qin and a Chinese sword called the jian, which allows them to use both long-range and melee attacks. This combination may seem a bit odd, but it contains deep history and meaning.

To understand it, you need to get acquainted with the concept of “wenren” – these are educated people of ancient China, the intelligentsia, often they were aristocrats. They were guided by special principles and used their own symbols. They wanted to achieve harmony, and for this it is necessary to restrain whims and emotions, keep love and hate under control, develop oneself, that is, improve oneself. This could be achieved by playing weiqi (chess), calligraphy and painting, as well as playing qin, which is the first among them.

Qin is the ancestor of Chinese music, an instrument recognized by UNESCO as a masterpiece of the intangible heritage of human civilization. It has an oblong body made of solid wood, 100-120 cm long and about 20 cm wide, on which seven traditional silk strings are attached. The sound of the qin served wenren to form sadness as a source of establishing honesty, rigor and a strong will towards oneself – the main principles of wenren.

Many of them also followed the path of the Tao, where the meaning of qin is deepened and complemented by jian. The intelligentsia considered the crane (a symbol of longevity and celestials), pine (steadfastness and constancy), plum-meihua (a symbol of life and fertility) and sword (a symbol of valor and a weapon against the forces of darkness) to be their symbols. All these objects were considered powerful sources of yang energy , and therefore they were credited with the property of protecting against evil forces. In China, the jian sword was an integral part of the equipment of Taoist exorcists who exorcised evil spirits.

Capabilities

Ren Xia is a magic class that wears cloth armor. His main stat is intelligence, which increases attack power. He deals damage from a distance with his qin, and up close when he switches to his sword. He is a damage-dealing character who provides support to his allies.

Most often, Ren Xia use the qin. Many skills used on this weapon deal three consecutive hits per skill, and also add musical notes for a short time. Having collected nine such signs, Ren Xia enters a state of resonance – and then all his attacks become critical . If there are fewer signs, then critical hits are not dealt. The critical hit chance, which is found on equipment, is also used differently: every 5% increases the damage dealt by 1%.

In addition, the Ren Xia can also consistently heal himself and allies, increase critical damage, increase damage to monsters and even restore genie energy ! For their own protection, these amphibious representatives use “Dragon’s Guidance” , which limits the damage they receive to 40% (20%) of the Ren Xia’s health, and “Secret Grudge” to transfer all negative effects from themselves to the selected target.

The sword is rarely used. To use it, you need to learn a transcendental skill that will allow you to get this weapon for 20 (40) sec. The sword can be taken out even under control effects and thus remove all negative statuses from yourself. During the entire time of using the sword, the bard is not affected by negative effects, and the skills are used while moving and with virtually no reloading.
