Game Features – Crafting

Item Upgrading System
When a player upgrades his/her items, the item will have a glowing effect, the color depending on what gem was used.

Crafting and Disassembly
Once you reach level 5, you will gain the ability to craft items at the NPC (you will gain a quest for each of the crafting skills. The reward is a skill book that you can take to the Elder of your city to learn the craft skill with.)

You gain 1 Crafting EXP for each item with a level equal or less than your crafting skill level that you craft. Once you gain enough Crafting EXP to gain the next level, you may go to the City Elder to buy the next crafting skill level.

Once you reach Crafting Level 3, you must have a Character Level of 50 to earn the 4th (and above) Crafting Levels. Go to the Elder of Dragon City to earn the Level 4 Crafting Quests. Once completed, you will get Level 4 Crafting Books that will allow you to learn the next level of Crafting.

Crafting Items can be found from Resource spawns (for Stone, Wood, Iron and Energy) or from Monster drops (for Oils, Fabrics, Solvent and Leather). Jade can be bought from Vendor NPCs.

You must go to the appropriate NPC to craft or disassemble equipment. (Ironsmith for Weapons, Tailor for Armor, Artificer for Ornaments, etc.) Simply select the “Craft <item>” or “Disassemble <item>” options to proceed.

Crafting items will result in items with various properties including equipment quality, special effects and number of slots.

  • Equipment Grade : One star denotes the same base stats as shop equipment. Two stars denotes upgraded stats. Three stars means elite stats, as much as 50% increase from shop equipment stats.
  • Special Bonuses : Special properties in addition to base weapon stats. A weapon can have up to 4 special properties, randomly determined when an item is crafted. These stats include, but are not limited to, the following: Additional stats, Imcreased HP/MP, Additional Attack or Defense, Additional Hit or Dodge, Additional Durability, 5% chance to gain beneficial effects, Additional EXP gained when equipped.
  • Number of Slots : Slots denote the number of Spirit Stones you can insert into an item. The Equipments Level determines the maximum Level of Spirit Stone you can insert into the item.

If you end up with lots of unwanted equipment, you can use the Disassembly command to create Vitality Stones. The Equipment Grade of the weapon and the quality of Special Bonuses determines the number of Vitality Stones you get from disassembling equipment. Disassembling Grade 3 equipment results in one or more Fairy Stones.Vitality Stones are used to craft charms at the Pharmacist NPC. You can also use Vitality Stones to recharge your Accelerated Flight meter. Simply drag the Stones to your equipped Flight Device on the Inventory screen.
